The plate falling onto the floor. The prettiest plate she ever did own. She couldn’t break its fall onto the metal plate that the couch sits on. Why does the couch sit on a metal plate? Because they had a fireplace there once. But then they relocated the fireplace because the room couldn’t handle the heat. They felt like they were in a sauna when they sat by the fire. Even though a wood fire should feel relaxing, romantic. Instead it made the wife and the children cry, “I’m too hot!!! I’M TOO HOT!!”
