I’m grateful for the weird figurines in my local coffee shop which someone has lined up on a shelf for our café views. A blue and white porcelain boy, two black cat figurines and a clock. Strange world these knickknacks. They don’t exude coffee shop decor. More somebody’s living room? Yet, they give me joy—someone’s expression. It reminds me that we are all different, with different yearnings and failings, and different taste! What is making you grateful today?
