I posted a Steinbeck quote this morning that reads, "It if is right, it happens--the main thing is not to hurry. Nothing good gets away." I thinks this applies to both your observations on good writing here...and the tiny green broom. xo
I saw Past Lives at Varsity Theatre many months ago and left feeling very angry with the protagonist. I have a lot feelings about that film but managed to push them down until you wrote them back into my heart with your reference. Whoa. Loss.
Maybe you will sew new sleeves onto your denim shirt or upcycle it into a fabulous, sleeve-free mini dress.
❤️ I hope you find some of the things you’ve lost... even if only in an alternate universe like the one where your meet your lost friend.
Interesting that she made you angry - like did she feel selfish? I think it's a bit autobiographical and the writer has a very strong viewpoint about the world - that's for sure.
Good idea with repurposing the shirt.
And maybe I'll post and update one day about how the retrieval is going :)
You can only gain if you lost. Ironic but void are meant for analysis, where could I have lost it or just for the new. I hate losing myself...I had a bracelet given to by a stranger several gems in it.. funny I'm thinking why. Anyways my sister wanted it and so I loan it but it was lost at the beach and she think its was nothing... I was disappointed but not angry...looking back on many ups and down we have I realized how much love I have for her despite how she thinks.
So losing is much gain as it makes room for newness, so buy one of those electric cleaner and put your feet up.

That's very true, Donnett - loss makes room for newness. I will buy one of those electric cleaners (great suggestion) and get on with it!
