If you didn’t catch our episode on grief last week, here it is again.
My seeds sprouting. Half of this tray is eggplant and half is shishito. One day we will find out which is which. Simon is not impressed with this haphazard approach to seedlings. He is a scientist and says we need to keep the lid on the seedlings. And pour water into the trays so it absorbs into the plants from the bottom, instead of overwhelming them from the top. Also, we need signage. (Yesterday, he put a meat thermometer into his coffee cup to make sure he was drinking the right one.)
We bought a variety of tomatoes and peppers from Vicki’s Veggies in case everything I grow fails. Look how Vicki is on top of the labeling.
I would appreciate so much having an organized person with a fanny pack of supplies follow me around.
The program for Elsie and Violet’s dance recital, where for once I showed up with bouquets of flowers at two separate performances. I also drove downtown so many times I feel like Dupont belongs to me.
It felt so lovely to be back in the theatre watching children tap their hearts out in sailor costumes. Hurrah for dance.
These clogs. Where can they be worn? Great question. TBDDDDDD. Currently, the girls are strutting the hallway in them. If they break an ankle, it’s on me.
In other news, this week on Sister On! we interview the remarkable visual artist and writer artist Jessica Hiemstra. She is someone you need to discover if you haven’t already.
